A gift just jumped off the shelf. He knew he was not getting it for himself. Only one thing in mind, to keep it simple With the intention to see those lovely dimples. He created a card that he could use, Hoping it would help to amuse. He knew he wanted something special and unique, And at the same time, wanting to stay meek. Then wrapping the card with the gift, Hoping that her spirits would uplift. She opened her gift and want for the card Without hesitation or putting up her guard. She read the card with a slight grin And began to show joy even then. After she read the passage that didn't take a while, She turned that slight grin into a gorgeous smile. Her beauty glistened with elegant grace As her smile shone brightly on her face. Within the room, it can be found That her smile is contagious to people around. Her smile lets her heart of gold shine bright To which in others it brings delight. Even though her inner beauty is where her smile really lies, Both can especially be seen through her angelic eyes. Her ravishing smile is so mighty, She is more beautiful than Aphrodite. The initial reaction made his heart give a big thump, Oh, just the glance at her smile made his heart jump. Her enchanting smile over came him with warm feeling And it was the beauty beyond the smile that was appealing. A nervous emotion comes over as he speaks For he is very distracted by her adorable cheeks. He then imagines someone treating her badly, Just picturing her smile diminish effects him sadly. It is this reason why he always wants to make her beam With that, his eyes down to his soul will gleam. As she puts the gift and the card back in the bag, She walks toward others to slightly brag. Over to the door his eyes did shift As he tried to catch another glimpse of the gift. She may have received a nice gift that day, But what he got was more precious in many way. There are many gifts that are expensive, And there are some that is intensive. However, there are gifts that are purely from the heart Sometimes given unintentionally from the start. What she gave him is the most enchanting flower for a thousand mile, For this precious gift is her beautiful smile.

This is about a gift I gave a friend who I really hold dear to me. She doesn't think that she is beautiful at times, so here is a poem that I hope would help her realize how beautiful she really is.
