JOG FOR WISDOM

by Cletus Hardiman - Sagittarius

I've jogged along the same old route
for almost now a year,
I've looked right and left along the path,
I've looked afar and I've looked near.
But, each time I go around it,
I discover something new,
Something I'd not seen before,
or someone I never knew.
The same, it is, along life's path
as we jog the years away,
We should grow wiser as we age
by things we've learned along the way !

Reason for writing:

I learned many years ago, that we should profit from our mistakes and not make them again....also, we should try to learn something new each and every day of our lives....so, It would only make sense that the older we get, the smarter we should become....if we do not, then, I suppose we have "jogged" in vain !
