What Happened to Your Self-esteem By Richard Maxfield 2-1-2000 What ever happened to your self-esteem Is life not what you thought, not what it seamed How could you sink so very low All the seedy places you now go Nothing but losers, playing a loser game Does your life feel real does it feel the same In the arms of a stranger, for another night Does it feel real, does it feel right Just a notch, on a strange man’s bed Speaking lies, never meaning what he said When I said I love you it was so true All the years in love, just me and you Are you now happy to sit in a bar Weave home drunk, stoned in your car I worry about you and what is to come I know what you had, where you are from I pray to God, you will awake Not on some dark street, your soul he takes What ever happened to your self-esteem Is life not what you thought, not what it seamed Copyright # RM99R4
