I BELEIVED YOU LOVED ME

by Erica Hughes - Libra

I believed you loved me,
I was a young fool,
I believed you loved,
I never knew, you could be so cruel.
I thought that you were Mr. Right,
but you finished me off,
with just one bite,
I was only there to fulfill
your appetite.

I begged for your love,
you denied me that,
I believed you loved me,
without one fact,
you said you loved me,
you said you loved me,

. . .and I believed you loved me.

Reason for writing:

To that bad mad man, who hurt my heart so bad,
he left me many tears, scarred me for some years, and made me forever sad.
