Rain

by Ross - Libra

It starts off in a river, lake or sea,
And rises up in droplets,
Smaller than the eye can see.

They form clouds,
Which travel for miles,
And wipe away a lot of happy smiles.

For the children can't go out and play,
On a rainy summers day.
All they can do is watch the rain,
Pit-a-pat pat on the window pane.

Reason for writing:

    Boredom in a rain shower
