No Love Lost

by Erica Hughes - Libra

No Love lost,
you thought I was going to cry for you?
die for you?
coming begging after you?
fool.
You pitiful fool.
I don't need you.
I GOT PLENTY OF YEARS,
behind me that I have lived,
since the day that you appeared,
in my life there is no way dear.
Ain't no love lost,
and I'm making that clear.
I don't need you,
I can do without you.
Silly boy.
Silly, silly boy.
What will you do?
Because I never was a fool for you.

Reason for writing:

    When I realized I didn't need someone I thought I would die
without. . .
