Back in the day, when men were men, not pussies, and punks, with stereos pumping in their trunks, [hoodlums. . .] Back then, when men were men, they stood their own ground, didn't need their friends. To watch their back, beggin' for money, and smokin' crack, They was payin' them bills, takin' care of their kids, makin' shit straight, in them digs. They stood for right, like a mountain, faces stoney, like blocks of granite. Back then when men were men stood for something Unlike them punks with stereos pumping from their trunks Thinkin' they too fly with them jays spillin' blood on the ground like kool aid Leavin' your mama to cry, got nothin to live for, so you die. You try. Too weak to live so YOU DIE PUNK [HOODLUMS!] Men were Men Taught their sons not to run [from life] and not to beat on [his wife] that's a reallll man. . . who can. back then you could depend on the ones, when men were men. . .
