God, give me the strength to face this day, understanding and wisdom in every way. God make me help some wayward soul to find your peace and be made whole! Don't let my mind try to find an excuse, God take my hand and put it to use. God take my tongue and let it speak But, keep it humble, mild and meek. Don't let it gossip of things we hear, but, let it tell your coming is near. God deafen my ear to the call of sin, and help me to win the souls of men. God take my talents that you gave to me and make me use them to glorify thee, God when I come to the end of this day let me be able to legitimately say, "God, I've served you today, with all my might, now, God, be with me all through the night." Reason for writing:
There are many sides to me....I was raised in a really strict environment....very Christian.....Well, I am my own person now....but, much of that "up-bringing" remains. If you follow my writing, one poem might seem to contradict another at some time.....I am a multi-faceted individual, with many moods, many likes, and many opinions....So, one day you might read something a little riske....the next day something very religious.....My book in progress is called THE MANY MOODS OF A POET....Thanks for reading this.....
