BEAUTY

by Cletus Hardiman - Sagittarius

Where does the beauty of a person lie?
In the hair, the clothes, or in the eyes?
Does it lie in the lips or in the skin?
or is the real beauty, hid subtly within?
Outward beauty is good to behold--
beauty of the young as well as the old.
But, the kind of beauty of which I speak,
lies within the heart of the kind and the meek !

Reason for writing:

We live in a time where much emphasis is put upon the outward appearance....But.....should we not look for what's inside of the person, too ! ! ! I, being a professional photographer specializing in glamour, models, etc. find myself falling into this trap.....But, there, in fact, are many types of beauty. And, not all of it is outward !
