We sat by the river, on a warm spring night, as I shed tears for you, by moonlight. Why on such a pretty night, must we fight? Because you don't love me anymore? How many tears, must pass through the years? Why can't we love each other, heal our loneliness, together, stay with each other, forever? How much do I love you, I am only true, I devote my life, to a man as good as you. But why must you hurt me, and torture me the way you do? You leave me by the river, with nothing but my dreams, in my once pretty dress, torn from it's seams. I long for rushing streams, to sweep me away from here, where no one can see me in the moonlight, wiping away my tears. . .
Reason for writing:
So much confusion must pass, before you are in equilibrium with clarity.
