I've come home from work so many times, and found you packed and gone. I've fixed a strong drink and paced the floor and then I'd get on the phone. I'd call our friends and ask around, And they were all so kind. But, this time, honey, I'm the one that's leaving you behind ! ! My bags are packed and in the car, and I am driving, all alone, Don't know where I'm going But, I won't go back home. But, after all the hurt you've done, you are still on my mind. But, this time boney, I'm the one, that's leaving you behind ! I look from my car window and I see the mountains, tall ! I cross the rivers, deep and wide, I think I've seen it all ! But it's no consolation, I really can't unwind, But, this time, honey, I'm the one that's leaving you behind ! Cletus Hardiman chard10442@aol.com
