If you meet me on the street, I'll smile each time we meet, though the pain inside my heart is stealing. I'll turn the corner to a bar, I couldn't go on too far, For, I'm "gonna" get drunk and tell my sober feelings ! I'm "gonna" get drunk and say just what I think. I'm "gonna" try to drown the hurt in each drink. And when I walk out of that door, I know that I'll be "reeling" For I'm gonna get drunk and tell my sober feelings ! No one knows the hurt I've had All my life, its all been bad. The one I loved walked out and left me kneeling (begging) So, tonight it all comes out I'll tell all the truth, no doubt, For I'm gonna get drunk and tell my sober feelings ! Cletus Hardiman
