I once had a dream
that I pursued with might !
I strived to achieve it,
'tho it was out of sight.
I reached for the stars
on a cloudy night,
I knew beyond the darkness,
that there was great light !
I evaded the thoughts
of things going wrong,
and feasted on faith
and sang a happy song !
I guided myself
along the right trail,
With positive thinking,
I could not fail !
I've reached that dream;
I've touched my goal.
I'm exuberant with joy
in my heart and soul.
I've gained happiness galore,
by learning my own mind,
For without knowing one's self,
Success, you won't find.

Reason for writing:
I do not like being around anyone that thinks negatively....I enjoy being around people that think positively.....What you are around tends to rub off on you.
But, above all, you need to know yourself--your strengths, your weaknesses, and be honest with yourself with making these self-evaluations !
