They say that your family should come first But I dont have a family, so my momma always came first. Been friends from birth, Her and I. When I was about to give up, she pushed me to try. And when daddy left, I told her to be strong that I was here, and Id right all his wrongs. And all along, through all the pain, Momma's been there again and again And when I showed up with muddy feet, my head hung low without the groceries She'd tell me, "its okay, that tomorrow's another day. I gott say, without my momma here, I do not think, that I woulda made it through the years. With all the tears in my eyes, and all the times she made me cry, I gotta say it made me stronger. Knew that I could hold on longer. And although momma aint here anymore, although shes buried in god's good floor, Id just like to say this, since i didnt while she was here "Thank you momma, for treating me like a woman all these years. You never gave up when I was about to. Id just need to say, Momma, Thank you."Birth sign: Gemini
