Vortex (Recollective #33)

by MDM Matthew - Libra

Light cuts through me like sharpened blades,
sanctifying the very dark of me...
Pain wrings through me... and with it comes
solace. Sweet tranquility.
As if my whole life is suspended in time,
with the key forever beyond reach...
Teasing...
Twisting...
Tormenting...
the very depth of my so called heart...
Hard rock hits the bleeding bottom of
my bitter heart.
And all I ask for is a kiss...
Yet I know it is too much,
but why are you so unrelenting?
Just like my feelings for you...
Just when I thought I found the key to you,
You smile, put on that innocent face, close the doors
and change the lock to your very heart...

Reason for writing:

Don't we all yearn for the somebody who can never be?
