Valentines Day 2000

by Jessica Alise - Leo

 I sit alone
All alone in my room, once again
Wondering what other girls are getting
How happy and how sad others are
Watching smiles, and looking at my frown

God has given what I deserve today
The day when love is the most celebrated
I guess I don't deserve a man
Because I sure don't have one
And he isn't here with me
Maybe I'm not supposed to be with anyone

You are the only light in my pitch black world
And now, your light is fading
Fadind into the darkness like the others
Don't be like them
You're not like the others at all
That's why I love you so much
You are unique, ineresting and exciting
But if you did really love me I wouldn't be sitting here all alone, on Valentine's Day
Would I?

 I still love you
Whatever I'm worth to you
So, I'd just like to say
Happy freakin Valentine's Day

Reason for writing:

I was left all alone for Valentine's Day while my "boyfriend" got another girl a gift and left me with nothing. I really hate Valentine's Day now
