MORTAL KOMBAT

by Erica Hughes - Libra

Mortal kombat,
immortal consequences,
Robert Frost once said,
"Neighbors are good fences. . ."
Don't think of it as war,
against another,
who is more than just,
your human brother,
he hates you but,
he says your his lover,
in the spiritual battle,
the earth will rattle,
swords will swings,
heads will fly,
the mortal flesh,
will DIE. . .

You may have won the battle,
but the war is not yours. . .
Mortal Kombat,
-- with eternal consequences,
Robert was wrong when he said,
"Neighbors are good fences.

The land is yours,
but your soul belongs to wicked one now. . .
So spend your money well,
Because you surely,
will be in hell.

Mortal Kombat,
eternal consequences,
skin and flesh,
lie burning in ditches,
spend your money,
you've earned it well,
The "mortal" kombat is over,
NOW BURN IN HELL. . .

Reason for writing:

Just my little protest against war, and land stealin', wheelin' and dealin' . . .You
know, this one goes out to the greedy (start sharin' with the needy)
