if i capture the heat in your electric-blanket lies if it lingers let me know i've tried to grasp the warmth of the fire so many times and it's blazed on by in another time another fireplace as i watch blizzards spin outside and coat the windows with their cold their biting wind a hushed whisper on the walls as i dream you falling from the sky the very same way as bitter flakes of white embedding themselves in my hair in my dreams but your attempt to save me with electric blanket lies your attempt of warmth in the audacity of the blizzard never fails when i hope to grasp it still but i'd rather taste the cold on my tongue if it's blizzards that tell the truth....
