Your Love's Been Good To Me

by Erica Hughes - Libra

You mean the world to me,
let the sun shine down on me,
I never thought that you would be,
so damn good to me. . .
He washed away,
all my pain,
pouring down on me,
Like the rain,
all because your love is like a candle,
burning bright,
in the night.
Your love is like the sun,
shining down,
on everyone.
YOur love,
your love,
I never knew love would be,
so wonderful.

You mean the world to me,
that I want the whole world to see,
you show me all the things,
that love will bring,
I can't believe,
your loving me.
You wash away,
all my pain,
pouring down on me,
like the rain.
All because your love is like,
a candle.
Burning bright,
in the night,
all because your love is like,
the sun.
Shining down on everyone.
Your love, Your love,
I never knew love could be,
so wonderful. . .

Reason for writing:

This is for for my sweetie, Clyde. You know he been so good to me all these years, puttin' up with my temperment and all. He takes good care of me, he buys me everything I want, and I still won't be his girlfriend because I don't want the good stuff to change. I'll wait until he buys me more stuff. Then I'll free him to move on to where he will someday be appreciated. But he has shown me that love is possible, if I really wanted it.
