The Devil in Disguise

by Janice - Sagittarius

Guardian Angel dressed in black
Wings of feathers, halo of gold
glistening fangs and crimson eyes
floating on firewater, encircled by smoke
He's the Devil in disguise

A chorus of angels with melodic voices
serenading
singing their hatred
"worthless trash"
And with severing movements
he conducts
The Devil in disguise

Slitetto feathered wings fluttering down
ripping, cutting, snagging
white silken skin
Til darkness descends
the light of the firewater gone out
and he lays on the floor
The Devil in Disguise
