I wander around in the night as the cold wind blows, sending a chill down my body. But still I keep walking, down the road, the mute tunnel, surrounded by dark, old, torn down houses and rusteling leaves, I can hear their crunching under my feet. There are no cars, no traffic, no people rushing to their destination. The city has gone to sleep. Except for me, I am still walking trying to find my way. I have no time for sleep. I am a wanderer, heading down an endless road to no where. All I do is look, watch life around me as mine passes me by. People ask my name, they ask where I'm from. I just look into their curious eyes, a smile on my face, and say, "I am the one that searches for answers, watches the stars, at times fears the unseen, becomes confused while trying to figure out others, admires the wise, trips over the past, and wanders to find the future. I am what you are." I usually surprise people with what I choose to sa but only because I make them think about ideas they don't let their minds explore. But then I continue my jurney down the road with so many missed oppertunities and forgotten dreams. But I do not dwell on the mistakes from the past, I can not fix them but they can teach me to lead a clearer path in the future. I have seen so much but know so little. So now I wander around and try to find the life that I left behind. I've stumbled acrost it so many times but was too afraid to pick it up.
