a burglar came to my house
while I was out
at first glance
he doesn’t seem to 
have taken 
anything of importance
except my privacy
he read my diary
what punishment 
can do justice for his actions
what judge can pass 
a reasonable sentence
on the burglar
who stole my thoughts and convictions
