What will the future hold For people like you and me? Deprivation and despair or peace and equality? Will there ever be Christian unity? Or will it only go to a certain degree? Will there be Black and White Racial fights? Or will we finally unite? Will people become more self-assured? Will Aids and Cancer finally be cured? Will there be less pain endured? Will there be more political success? Just how will people of the future dress? Will people treasure possessions less? Will they devise virtual cars? Will they create more candy bars? Will they send astronauts to Mars? Will the music style be dark and rash? Will the world become polluted by trash? Will the economy become based on cash? What will the future hold? How will the future be? Hopefully a time of peace and love and a little more harmony!
Reason for writing:
It was for Cathoic School's week and we had to write an essay, story, make a poster, or write a poem on the subject of "What will the future hold" My poem was chosen as the best and they put it in the paper.
