Don't turn around Never look back Don't look down Don't step on the crack Just little sayings Stupid superstitions As dependable as hallucinations and visions Why do we say them When we don't believe What do we mean by it What do we try to achieve? Go with your first instinct Don't talk to strangers We do these things to avoid Error and dangers Some we believe in Some we do not "Drugs do you" means don't do pot Some sayings are bogus But some are true Sometimes we say them to explain what we do
