If I were you And you were me Just who exactly Would we be Cuz you wouldn't be you And I wouldn't be me So what would happen To our personality It would be weird to know me and you But it would be interesting To see what we'd do Would you know me And would I know you Would our friendship eventually fall through Would our friendships Be based on love and trust Or would those qualities Just as soon turn to dust? All in all I think its plain to see That we should be who we wanna be Just be ourselves and we'll be fine It would be too hard to be someone else all the time So you just be you And I'll just be me And as for our fate... I guess we'll see!
