INTO THE GREAT UNKNOWN

by Sandra - Gemini

I was a square peg put in a round hole
Tried me every which way, but I wouldn't go
I opened up my eyes to what a heart is shown
And away I've flown into the great unknown.

I was wide awake while all the magic slept
But I set it free once I found where it was kept
Into the great unknown, running like the wind
Feels like the wings on my heels are kickin' in.

Rise above things in your head that hold you down
The rhythm 'neath your skin will lift you off the ground.
Learn how to fall and then you'll soar on your own
And ride those currents blown into the great unknown.

I was a little voice lost in an empty hall
Bouncing back to myself from that same old wall
Into the great unknown where I've never been
I run with the wind, come catch me if you can.
