Computer

by A. Bongiorno - Leo

Staring at a blank screen
Why
Maybe I should go outside
Maybe

Follow the link
Just one more
Two hours straight
An electronic minute
Just one click
Then sleep

So glad we met
An hour has passed since you first smiled at me
Sorry I didn't smile back
My zero key is broken
But my eyes are wide
:

That speck on my right eye
It's me and now it's not
Love handles consumed by background
They do this in Playboy
Don't they?
Perfect, now post

A blackout

The lights return
And I
Having not moved
Remain focused
It will be nice to read a newspaper
Go shopping
And speak to my friends again
Power returning to my hands
As I reboot
