I keep it to my-self, for no one else will believe, but I have an imaginary friend, who will never deceive, He's there at all times, stored in my coat pocket, held close to my wretched heart, like a picture in a locket, when I need some one to listen or to wipe away my tears, I hold him in my palm, and he casts away my fears, He brings a smile upon my face, on those terrible days, He brightens the atmosphere, like beams and sun rays, A little bow tie around his neck, only standing an inch or two high, with his jacket and dark trousers, he's adorable, I mustn't lie, I wish you could see him, or hear him, but only I can, even though you think I'm lying, he's better than all men.
Reason for writing:
You're probably going to think I'm nuts, but I really
have an imaginary friend. He's the only one that hasn't
hurt me. You probably won't believe me just because
I'm the only one who can see him, and that's okay. But I
speak the truth here, and when I need some one to listen,
he's there not you!!
