This Face

by Malloree - Libra

This face I see before me
Is one without a race
It has no color
No distinct pace
Then how in the world can it be a face?
It starts to show
And now I know
The face has the color
Of every single race
For the face I see before me
Is the face of amazing grace
The one who will never be replaced
There is no main feature
No eyes
No nose
No shape
But there's a perfect beauty
I can never erase
I can stare at him all day
And think of the right words to say
And on the day when I find myself in that wonderful place
I clearly may see His beautiful face

Reason for writing:

I have been going through a rough time, and then I experienced the AWESOME feeling of God's Holy Spirit, and I saw him face-to-face... This poem is all about my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Without him, I wouldn't be writing these peoms, and no one would be here!
