We both know we are ment to be and the love we have is more powerful than anything Everytime we used to talk we felt it in our souls When we said we loved eachother more than anything It was such a strong feeling that couldn't be beat But lately when we talk that feeling fades Maybe it is because we are so far apart and we dont talk much anymore or maybe the love we had when we first met is beginning to fade not by choice, but by distance and strenght The strength we had when we first met has decreased in my heart Everytime I think of what we are now, I can't see any happiness in what we will become I love you more than anything and more than you will ever know but the love in your heart seems to be gone, and I don't know what to do Sometimes I feel like I am the only one in the relationship even though you try I am happy outside but within I'm screaming for your love But no matter what happens, the love i know that is true within us will never fade from my heart Because to me, we are ment to be and I will never let go of what we had at one time because I know that someday you will wake up and see how hurt I am and you will be the one person I love, that one person I will never let go of
Reason for writing:
this was also written at a time when my ex boyfriend and i were going through a really tough time and this is also how i felt about the whole thing, and it inspired me to write this poem
