It seems like so very long ago My one true love, I did not know Then we met at that fated place Something about him my mind won't erase. We did things together, became good friends, Something about him, didn't want it to end. We became intimate, feelings started to grow, Something about him, I cared for him so. Took awhile to admit I was falling in love, Something about him, was he sent from above? Wasn't free, but for him, the only love that I felt Something about him, he'd look at me, I'd melt. We talked for hours about our future together, Something about him, there'd never be another. Through the rough times he was right there for me, Something about him, he loved me completely. Then came the time I was free to be his, Something about him, I now know what that is. He's giving and caring, accepts me for who I am, Something about him, I thank God he's my man.
