I listen to your complaints everyday, Now it is time to have my say. Some of you, from the time you walk through the door, Are crabby or grouchy, I can see that for sure! Don't like the place that we've put you to sit, Too noisy, too crowded, or too poorly lit. You look at the menu, about prices you gripe, "My table is sticky, could you give it a wipe?" You wait til I'm busiest to order at last, "And we're in a hurry, could we get our food fast?" I bring you your food, it's not right, of course, My smile for you, I'm starting to force. I'm running low on patience, but still you don't quit, You were in a "hurry", but there you still sit. Extra napkins, refill the coffee you've sipped, To meet your demands, I've made 20 trips!! And after I've put up with all of your "ship" I smile and say thank you for that 10% tip... But in spite of all this, I still like what I do, But remember that WAITRESSES ARE PEOPLE TOO !!!! :)
