A single tear rolled down your cheek, A breath--then you were gone. The angels came and took you To start your journey home. And now our grief begins anew Our sadness at your loss. But in our sorrow--comfort too, To know you're free of pain. Your smile is gone, your voice is still But your spirit will remain. We're lucky to have known you. You always made us laugh. Your life was often difficult You couldn't find your path. And though we mourn your passing, We celebrate your life. We know that you'll be happy now And so we'll be all right. We know you're watching over us For now you have your wings. Take care of us and help us face Whatever our life brings. It's time to say goodbye now. Until we meet again. We trust you to God's loving care. We'll miss you, Sweet Lorraine.
