TEA

by Percy Albertross - Taurus

Eeee…you just can’t beat a cup of tea.
It knocks the spots off black coffee.
It’s so refreshing and hits the spot,
Tastes much nicer than coffee slop.
But when you visit a foreign shore,
They seem to think that teas a chore.
You get fancy bags with funny scents,
That smell like flowers for fifty pence.
I can’t drink that! It looks like pee!
Tastes nothing like my monkey tea.
So if your brew is tea, not slop!
When on holiday, just stick to pop.

Reason for writing:

    I don't like coffee
