The green leaves are changing, To beautifully contrasting hues... Crispy golden yellows, Pumpkiny oranges too. Throw in some of the deepest reds, A few hints of dirty brown... A gentle breeze comes along, And they float gracefully to the ground. In just a few short weeks, All that's left are bare branches so high... They twist and entwine with themselves, Reaching out for the wintery sky.
