Through the Swirling Storm By Richard Maxfield 3-26-2000 As I sail the ocean With no one at the teal Guided by emotion I am what I feel Smooth clear sailing On crystal blue sea Fallowing the best path Winds laid out for me Sailing past the obstacles That lay with in my path Feeding all the good Starving all the wrath Forecast clear skies Peaceful still and calm Over the next horizon Storms choppy bomb Waves batter the ship Black oceans churn Angry skies darken Loves emotions burn White water thrashing Howling winds blow Holding on the edge of life All the love I’ve known Lifeboats smashed By the raging sea No one to give a hand Count on only me In the swirling storm Sails tattered torn Praying to my God Why was I even born Though the oceans ruff My nights full of fear I make a vowel to myself This storm I’ll persevere With the last of my strength I wipe the salty tears One last deep breathe Swallow all my fears As new dawns break Clear sky I can see I’ve weathered the storm Just my God and me Set my coarse a new To a peaceful shore Love and happiness Will rein my life once more Copyright #RM99R4Birth sign: Gemini
