We were once best friends We would do everything together Everyone figured we were sisters It's hard to believe we were ever that close We used to always hangout together We thought our friendship would never end And I guess it never did.... But you're with the "cool" people now I'm still here........waiting......hoping I haven't moved a muscle praying You'll come to your senses and return to me I know we had fun together..... You know we did too I still miss you tons But I try not to think about it.. TOO MUCH When you pass me in the halls at school And give me a little smile or wave It makes me feel like a person So I thank you for that Sometimes I want to call you And chat up like old times I know you wouldn't mind You're not like that But I couldn't It would be too awkward...
