I don't want to just exist
Be one of those people who say "what if?"
I could be a better dreamer
Than the rest of you-by far-
I've seen reality for what it is
It's left its scar.
I know the world goes way beyond here
and
there's so much I could do elsewhere
but
something has me rooted to this place
a magic in the air
and
a suspended spell in space.
So, here I will stay
I know no other way
but
to be a humble girl
in such a small place
in such a large world.
