LONELINESS WILL BE. . .

by Erica Hughes - Libra

I wake up every morning,
to a world of my own,
where there is certainly a difference,
between being lonely,
and alone.

I wish I could say it is only solitude,
but I can't deny this loneliness,
that seems to fester in my soul,
like a black hole,
inside of my chest.

I wonder what is wrong with me,
why do I feel this way,
Some people think I have it all,
But for love, I'd throw it all away.

Just waiting on my big chance,
to show someone my heart,
but until I am able to find the key,
My place is in the dark.

I wait for that special person to love me,
as the void in my heart expands,
One day I will share a little love,
I Wait for my one true friend.
Who will see the good inside of me,
Loneliness will finally cease,
Just solitude,
as we share our peace,
But until that wonderful day arrives,
loneliness will be.

Reason for writing:

    Because Loneliness is. . .
