Thank you for the wonderful job You did in raising your son. The values you instilled in him While showing him life is fun. Thank you for teaching him Kindness and compassion for others, And he can get silly, with a sense of humor He obviously got from his mother. Thank you for always being there When he needed you to be, Yet, at the same time, letting go When he needed to be free. Thank you for allowing me Part of your lives to share, And please remember both of us For you will always be there. He matured into a wonderful man Because of the way he was brought up, And I promise to cherish him always... Your son, the man that I love.
