Seeing you, for the first time, Just standing there. With all those girls around you. Thinking "He's no one special." Getting to know you. And waking up one morning, Realizeing I was in love with you. And would do anything for you. Remembering I thought you were the same, As all those other guys. Knowing now I was totally wrong. And that I wanted to be with you. Finally the day comes, When we start going out. And all I can think of, Is how much I will hurt when you leave me. That thought alone keeps me, From telling you the depths of my love. For, I'm afraid it might scare you away. That you might not want the commitment. And I know it seems foolish for me to think that, When I want to tell you, How sweet you are. And how much I care for you. And how I want to be with you forever. And that even I love you wouldn't do justice, For how I feel about you.
Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem specifically for the one I love the most-Chad. I just don't know what I'd do if I ever lost him. I just don't know how to tell him how I feel cuz I'm afraid it might scare him away. A lot of my poems are based on him and how I'd feel if he broke up w/ me because I love him sooo much!
