Another Day

by FireFly - Libra

A bloom on the prairies-
The golden poppies share the winds sway-
And in motion begins a new day-
There’s laughter behind the trees-
And the animals’ roam and graze-

Freedom…the lands subtle yell-
The fish plucked from the streams-
That swells and nourishes this land-
And behind the trees children laugh-
At play-

This fairy tale-
In the estranged mind-
That refuses to give in-
To the traffic above-
I think of this-
Therefore I am there-
But back in to steel, wheels, mobiles-
Stick shift, radio noise-
Electronic seas-
Switch into the next gear-
Come back. Go there. Stay here.

In between the lust for life-
And crossing the bridge-
