" One day I will stand tall and take pride in my name,
I will educate my people so that they may do the same".
" One day I will find my place in life", is what my
mother said,
she never reached her destination, for now she is dead.
She taught me well and raised me right,
she gave me the strength to win this fight.
One day I will get the courage to voice my opinions aloud,
one day ... I will make my mother proud.
