Druggie Paradise. . . (read please!)

by Person needing assistance - Aquarius

It is true when they say,
a mirror doesn't lie. . .
I remember, when I was fly,
now nothing but tears,
flow from my eye,
and they say a man,
ain't supposed to cry. . .

I remember standing,
on the wall,
not thinking I,
would ever fall,
as I played my way through,
my so called life,
like a snake charm,
before that needle went,
into my arm,
now people look down at me,
like I'm some kind of joke,
cause I blew my future away, in a hale of smoke,
Basting away, a vile full of dope,
heroine in my arms,
and snifffing coke.

The ladies that once loved me now snicker in vain,
they pretend they can't remember,
my damn name,
snicker and laugh "It's a damn shame",
I am not a man,
--- my new found pain,
barely any blood, in my collapsed veins,
as I surrender myself, my soul,
my honor, --- for a hit,
while people walk over me,
like I'm a pile of Shit. . .

This is a druggie's paradise,
this is the way we live our lives,
nothing glamourous, like on tv,
not for a day, you'd want to be me.
I blew my life away, all of my dreams. . .

People used to think,
I was THE man,
now I live,
in a garbage can,
women use to say,
that I was fine,
now they step over me,
while I drink my wine,
they roll their eyes,
-- won't loan me a dime,
this is the way we live our lives,
this is a druggie's paradise. . .

Reason for writing:

Never, ever do drugs!! Or this man, could be you!!! (ladies too!) You dig?
