To me they are people who have a heart to lend
They stick by you through thick and thin
Whether you lose or win
When all you want is to run and hide 
Your true friend will be by your side
They listen to all your problems
And if they could, help you solve them
If you feel like just going away 
A true friend will know exactly what to say
