I want so much to let it be, but you blind my eyes I cannot see. I try so hard to walk away, but there's so much I want to say. The words to speak they seem so clear, but always fade when you are near. I don't want to say but I know it's true, everyday my heart is with you. It's always been there even on this day, it's no longer mine to give away. It takes two for love however I only count as one, I'd do anything to say that you are mine. We're friends; that's all so I save my hopes for another distant day. I keep you close, you're in every decision that I make. But just to see your smiling face is worth all the infliction that I may take. While you know nothing that I feel, one day I know you will And if you're the same you are today, I know I'll love you still.
