You've watched me grow all my life
Stood beside me when I became a wife
I've always looked for comfort from you
Anything different I never knew
While I've been sick you've been there
Always a happy story to share
Making sure to make me smile
But just knowing you were there through the extra mile

At my bed you would always stand
