Bundled Up Cozy In Your Sweatshirt

by redfiggywiggy - Leo

It's cold,
windy,
rainy outside.
The weather is like...40 degrees or something.
I watch it-wind and rain and patches of cold air
in my heated room
bundled up in your sweatshirt.
(the blue and yellow "hurley" one)
you say it cost you a "pretty penny"
and I always feel so special
every cold night you give it to me.
I washed it today (it smelled like us)
and even with the heavy duty strength
of my fresh smelling detergent and fabric softener,
your scent still peeks
out of every stitch.
But I don't mind,
and I know my nose doesn't either.
