For Mary

by christopher - Sagittarius

it's hard to get past that unforgettable smile
but when i do succeed
I then become engulfed in her almond-shaped jewels
just the idea of her acknowledging me
is enough to give a blackened soul like mine light
she is a real person
one with substance
un-puppet like
to put it simply;
whomever has been blessed to kiss those lips of hers
must still be in awe
without a doubt
she is poetry in motion
and i have fallen head over heels for poetry

Reason for writing:

    I met a girl named Mary a short while ago. It would be a lie to say that I don't love her. In such a short period of time, she has brought happiness to my life everyday
