I Once Saw

by Stinky - Aries

I once saw a clown turn me into a dog,
That clown is my uncle.
I once saw a man with a knife in his head,
Although it was only on T.V,
It still made me cringe.
I once saw my grandmother,
I should have taken a better look.
I can't now.
I once saw myself in the mirror,
And thought "Is that really me?"
I once saw pictures of a man
Burning himself in protest.
I thought "Is it really worth it?"
I once saw an individual.
He told me not to stare too long or I'd become him.
I stared too long.
I once saw an individual,
I'm still searching for another.
I once saw a statue of the Christian God,
That's when I had my first athestic thought.
I once saw a man dying,
And wondered who said death is a bad thing?
I once saw my friend turn into a slime,
Then a chicken,
Then to a panther.
I laughed.
I once saw my friend cry.
He won't admit he did.
I once saw myself cry.
I admit it.
I once saw a man in a suit running.
I thought "What's the rush?"
I once saw a canibal at work.
I once saw an open, undesturbed field.
I once saw absolutly nothing.
I still do.

Reason for writing:

A lot of memories. Some good. Some bad. Some indiferent.
